Since 2017, Blackfoot has invested nearly $50 million to expand our fiber network across Western Montana and Eastern Idaho to connect the people, businesses and communities across our 5,000 square miles of service territory.
In 2021, the United States Congress passed the American Rescue Plan Act that included a historic investment in rural broadband. Blackfoot was awarded seven grants to deploy fiber in communities including Philipsburg.
